Students of ministry training program

Welcome to GTEN.church

GTEN.church (Global Theological Education Network that is church-based) is a movement to empower local churches through biblical theological education for deeper discipleship and effective ministry training. GTEN.church was born in the Global South with a vision to provide integrated and accessible ministry training to equip emerging church leaders with the necessary knowledge and skills for ministry in and through the local churches.

We partner with churches and church networks to provide ministry-oriented biblical education for all. Currently, our GTEN courses are being used in almost 1500 churches and church-networks, over three continents. Learn More

About

Our Training Program

The GTEN ministry training program is designed for disciples of Jesus, to help them understand and obey the teachings of the Bible. This is intended to help them fulfil the great commission by making disciples, forming discipleship-communities and becoming leaders of local churches who effectively engage with issues arising in the Church and world.  The program is accessible and scalable. Accessible means, it is designed even for oral learners. Scalable means, the students can progress according to their pace to achieve a basic ministry training degree.

The training program is developed as a three-year Bachelor of Ministry (BMin) in Christian Ministry accredited by the GAAMT (Global Accrediting Association for Ministries and Training). For more flexibility, students can take this program for one year, as a Certificate in Christian Ministry (Cert.Min). Alternatively, students can take this program for two years, as a Diploma in Christian Ministry (Dip.Min). Only after completing all three years, can students get a Bachelor of Ministry in Christian Ministry (BMin in Christian Ministry).

Why GTEN Ministry Training?

Emerging churches require ministry training in their language and sensitive to their needs. The GTEN curriculum is designed to be accessible in local languages and helps the people address the unique issues facing grassroot communities. The aim is ultimately to help local churches build their current and future leaders.
